A heartfelt shout-out to Jeff James and the fantastic team at S & S Inland Star Automotive for the incredible addition to our garden – a robust and reliable wheelbarrow. Allow me to share the tale behind this thoughtful gift.
Last August, Tropical Storm Hilary swept through our area, leaving behind a trail of heavy rainfall and powerful winds. In the aftermath, Jeff took to Facebook, updating the community on his cleanup efforts near the South Forks Cabins off Highway 38. Amidst the debris, he stumbled upon a neglected wheelbarrow and reached out to see if anyone would claim it. Seizing the opportunity, I suggested we could put it to good use in our garden if no one stepped forward.
As fate would have it, no one claimed the wheelbarrow, prompting Jeff to retrieve it despite the need for a new front tire. The only hiccup? The rusted nuts and bolts proved resistant to my limited tools. In a pinch, I reached out to the reliable team at S & S Inland Star Automotive, confident they possessed the expertise and equipment needed to tackle the issue. Today, I received the joyous news that a new airless tire had been expertly installed, transforming the once-washed down / neglected wheelbarrow into a sturdy, ready-for-anything companion.
