Highland's Giving Garden operates as a Community Garden with a strong commitment to community welfare. Our fundamental mission revolves around cultivating fresh produce that not only nurtures the land but also uplifts the lives of individuals facing challenges.
Our garden features raised beds, each with a purposeful role in fostering community engagement. A significant portion of these raised beds is devoted to yielding produce exclusively for community distribution, ensuring that our efforts are channeled directly into benefiting those in need and less fortunate.
In our vibrant garden, you'll discover raised beds with a purpose: to give back to our community wholeheartedly. These carefully tended plots are exclusively dedicated to nurturing crops destined to make a positive impact. But that's not all. We also offer special raised beds, available for a modest fee of just $30 bi-annually, or $50 per year. These beds are perfect for anyone - whether you're living in an apartment or simply seeking a green haven where you can't garden. We understand that life's circumstances vary, and our goal is to ensure that everyone has a chance to grow. As an embodiment of our commitment, 10% of the harvest from these beds goes right back to the community, creating a cycle of shared goodness.
